I always understand the importance of water that's why I always focused on saving on water. As we know that water is important for surviving of life. I see that many parts of India are facing Drought situation now a days. Now the question come in my mind who is responsible for that and what is the solution. See the solution are many but it is depend upon people how they stop wastage of water.

I am staying in the Hyderabad city and there also lot of problem related to water. People wasted water earlier and that's why now water level goes very low. We need to save water, Rain harvesting & need to grow tress as much as possible.

@oshi2388 ; In our society, we had made the setup of rain harvesting. Hope, this time rain will happen at correct time and in good quantity.

Our actions like de-forestation and exploitation of natural resources has led to disturbance in ecological cycle thus unpredictable rainfall and drought situations have become so common.

@oshi2388 to a very large extent. We are the ones who cut trees, make pollution, over exploit underwater resources ....list is very long. Nature is not changing on its own. its we who r making it change

We are experiencing drought here as well. As to who is to blame, well we can blame the el nino phenomenon for that, or the global warming.

@oshi2388 I want to blame us, but i have read something that no matter what we do, things will happen beyond our control. So no, i stopped believing we are responsible for that solely.

Basically wrong government policies, no proper water management, and a lot more has resulted in the severe draught.

Why should government wait till April, when the water level is almost zero to take some action. There is always an estimation of how much water will be required in May- April. Based on that , there should be consistent water cut right from October to ensure that there is some cushion left for month of April and May.
