Weird couple

We had our meeting with a group of friends tonight and one guy, who is like a walking library of jokes, narrated this story of an old couple. The husband went to a psychiatrist and complained that his wife was acting weirdly. And so goes his conversation with the psychiatrist : HUSBAND : Doctor, I have a problem with my wife who has been acting weirdly these days. PSYCHIATRIST : How is that so? What has your wife done? HUSBAND : Can you imagine the smell inside our bedroom with her having her goats and sheep stay with us in the room? PSYCHIATRIST : Well, the solution is easy - just open the windows and let the odor out. HUSBAND : What? And let my pigeons fly out and escape? LOL!

Hmm I think I am missing something lol. I don't get jokes very well though so that is common. I am guessing the man does not realize how weird it is to keep pigeons in his bedroom.
