e-commerce development using php triad

I have to develop an e-commerce system but i'm not sure how to go about it. I recently downloaded phptriad which came with MYSQL and Apache but i still don't know how these programs are going to help me achieve my goal of building an e-commerce site. I am grateful for ANY assistance.
