Low Backache

I must have sprained a muscle last week while moving. Chiropractor says my hipbone got under my lumbar and is pulling on the muscle. Had two adjustments and still in pain. I don't do drugs but took Tylenol Arthritis and Loratab with no relief. Soaked in hot bath and took hot shower. Massaged camphor on it. Drank green tea and ginger tea. Nothing's working. What else can I do?

Use a metallised heat-reflecting sheet between the mattress and the bottom sheet of your bed. (Look in your first-aid kit!) This is an easy and effective way to apply extra heat to the back, and works better than electric heating pads and hot water bottles. The heat of course is free, and it's amazing how much of it the body can generate. (Source: oldnaturalremedies.com)
