I try my best not to let it get to me when that happens. But sometimes, depending on what the subject is, it does hurt my feelings. When I put alot of effort in to writing a discussion, and I get no responses, it hurts a little.

It happens to me but it's okay. I don't comment either to all the posts here. I only comment on those I which I have an idea and of my interest. So I am thinking maybe my post doesn't interest others too.

It is disheartening to see the topic become unattended. Fortunately I don't have any topics left like that. I do check the no-response category and try to respond those topics. Still I don't familiar with all topics so can't help at times.

Being upset is ok, that gives us impetus to work harder next time. However when someone post anything on social networking sites the response is driven by the factor that how many friends do that person have on that website. For example i have seen people writing logical things on Facebook and Twitter, but their posts does not get deserved response as they do not have lot of friends in that place. On the other hand i have seen people with lot of friends writing general stuff that ''Morning is so pleasant today" and getting lot of likes and encouragement. So finally is comes down to network of friends you possess, this is applicable not only in virtual world but in real world too.

No I don't get upset. Actually, I've always gptten a few responses, but if not it's no big deal to me. Sorry you feel as you do. Interaction is always a plus.

I feel some discussions are close to our heart. When such long discussions do not get that response, it feels bad. But we need to understand that on a global platform not everything will be acknowledged. I think we just need to move on. The post may get some responses after few days..who knows.

I try to make discussions that people will post a response. Maybe you should look at what you are writing about like I did when I first had no responses.

It feels sad, when you take some trouble to write after doing research and no one responds. But you cannot help it. Maybe someone sometime may respond to it later.
