Before I say goodnight to all of you my friends, I want to inform you that our region will be the hottest place in our country tomorrow; this is according to the weather center PAG-ASA. So, anybody who wishes to go out must wear hats, or use umbrellas, have bottles of water, and wear light and loose clothing to keep him cool despite the heat. It is expected that the heat index will be more than 40 degrees. I will stay indoors, but I have to hydrate myself with water. My city has always been on the top in being the hottest area. But I do not completely believe in our weather center. Maybe some areas will be hotter than ours. Do you always agree with what your weather center tells you about your climate?

@SIMPLYD if you plan to come here for a vacation, be sure you come here when the weather is cool, my friend, probably December or January.

It is scorching hot Ate and our fans are working overtime. I don't always believe what our weather center announces. Because there have been times when it was announced that heavy rains were to be expected but the sun was shining.

Oh, right! Now I remember hearing about it on the news yesterday. So that's why it's so hot right now. Maybe that's one reason why I'm feeling extra lazy to go out of the house. Hehehe. But I do need to go out to the clinic at least to buy my mother's injection... No, I think I should call them first to ask if it's available. (Because I've gone there four times and they were either closed or no meds available so... better call first before going out in this heat!) And if they have it and I should go, of course I'll make sure to bring an umbrella.

@ridingbet Thanks for the welcome back! I guess I am an old newbie... or a new oldie? I did bring an umbrella. The medicine was more comfortable than I was because as soon as I bought it, it went straight into the lunch box filled with ice. The clinic is not that far anyway. And as soon as I got home, I went straight to the kitchen to get me a glass of water. Must replenish the fluids lost through sweat!

it is hot if it is summer, but cool and cold if it is in December to January, right my friend? So let us be hydrated all the time.

Where are you at in the Philippines? I'm here in Makati and it might as hot as other places. I think our weather forecast these days have improved compared to past years, so the people doing their job might be somehow accurate.

@rhymeblue and to add more insult to injury, the power was cut off for 3 consecutive nights from 2AM to 3AM so i had to open the jalousies just above my head and let the warm wind can enter my room. the fan was off because of the brown out.

i am in the northern part, where the hottest place happened decades ago. it is hot again, and the weather center is somewhat getting accurate as to what is present in our climate.

@ridingbet its 12.22am right now and I'm sweating when the fan is actually running. That's how hot it is

Not always because sometimes they do make mistakes. However, these days they seem to be pretty accurate with the heat index. Good thing I don't really have to be under the sun most of the time.

so far it's just 38 something in my room, but that's because of the exhaust fan, this is just too much or me. I hope it subsides and allow a little rain to come.

no, we don't have, my friend, but our house is spacious and the air moves freely. the heat index even reaches 49 to 50 degrees that is why the asp[halted roads have some evaporation when it is hit by the sun's rays.

sometimes too, the humidity is high that is why you can just imagine how 'sticky' we get when aside from the heat, we get humid as well.

For the last 25 years I have never experienced a 40-degree centigrade temperature. Maybe if ever I come home and gets that hot, I may get a heart attack. .

that is why you just stay where you are now, kabsat. a 40degrees temperature is already normal for some here, but not when you think about the heat stroke
