Top 10 Songs by The Cure #6 - "Let's Go to Bed"

Not too long ago, @JohnRoberts did a Top 10 series of his favorite Linda Ronstadt songs. @FourWalls joined the fun with an Elton John series, and is now honoring Warren Zevon as well as doing a Top 20 tribute to the late Merle Haggard. As for myself, I did a series on hardcore/reggae band Bad Brains, and am now working on a Top 10 songs by The Cure.
Vocalist/guitarist/leader Robert Smith has withstood multiple lineup changes, keeping The Cure relevant and consistently good since the mid-1970's.
"Let's Go to Bed" is a 1982 single (you can find it on the 1983 compilation Japanese Whispers.)
The song was a hit in Europe, and reached #32 on Billboard's Dance Music/Club Play chart.
"Let's Go to Bed" is an upbeat dance tune that sounds nothing like the gloom and doom sound for which the band is best known.
Dare I say it? It's also a fun listen.
Meanwhile, I encourage you to pick a band and do your own Top 10, because they are really fun.

Did the Cure ever make a bad song? This is one of their all time biggies.

Well, in a way, it is. That is from the early 80's, and they sound nothing like that now, so it kind of is a different era.

I also love The Cure. Let's Go to Bed is a fun listen. My favorite has always been "Love" because I like the way the beat picks up, I like the message, and it reminds me of college adventures!
