An unexpected encounter

This morning as I was on my way to church, I saw a woman approaching and just the way she dressed sent signals that she's not really quite in there, if you know what I mean. As she got closer, she suddenly said "Hi, so you're Jerome's wife." I wasn't shocked at all, I just smiled and said, "I don't know him". I just went on walking without looking at her. She yelled back and said, "You're already embarrassed about him? (Name not clear) and Jerome are one and the same!". For one thing, I'm not married and I don't know this Jerome. I'm just glad she wasn't violent and didn't attack me, lol! Life is like that, it can be crazy all of a sudden but sometimes, even when we're already troubled, we just need to act calmly and not think about it too much. All I can think of at that moment is making it to the mass in time.
I've been wondering though. Is it alright to submit short posts and are you still earning from it?

Some crazy woman wants to make a scene or thinks you are what she thought was you. It's a good thing you walked away, she could be part of a con. good for you, you already have trouble and this one shouldn't bother you one bit.

i think it's okay to make short posts but not as short as one or two sentences..

one morning, in a church, a lady stood near me. i didnt look at her but i was aware of her presence at the time. suddenly she sat beside me and thats when i looked at her. it was obvious that shes mentally ill because of her clothes. she smells a bit and dirty too. she didnt talk to me but she smiled, so i smiled and let her sat there. when we were to sing Our Father and held hands, she offered her hand. i'm sorry, i know im inside the church with God.. nothing to worry but i got scared for a bit that she might physically harass me. i waited and waited but she didnt, she let go of my hand gently too.
what happened to you though is a bit scary.

I can imagine how she looks like.
What do you mean by short posts? I think it's fine to have 3-5 sentences for as long as it's substantial.

I would have been a little nervous around her and felt bad for her at the same time.
