And the day winds down...

I'm slowly winding down from my busy day. I had my mammogram done. There was only slight pain once and the rest of the time there was no pain at all. I have this done at a local hospital where they have a building especially for women and we are treated like gold there. It's exactly how women should be treated. When I first walked in and I was asked what I was there for, I froze up. Fear had gotten hold of me. And she saw it on my face. She immediately calmed me down and said everything I was feeling was normal and natural, considering what I've been through. And then I took a deep breath and we got things done. I've been fine ever since. I'm glad it's done. I'll hear the results in a few days. Then I came home and called Verizon about my internet speed. She did all sorts of tests and didn't find a problem. She even checked for me to make sure that my wifi is secure and that no one else in the building can tap into it. I'm all set there. She sent me a few things in an email to help me do some other checks on my own and she said if this doesn't get any better, for me to call them again and she would have everything documented. It's a little better now, so we'll see how tomorrow is. I'm going to read a little bit here and then grab my book and do some book reading before I turn in. Hope you've all had a wonderful day! :) -Claudia-

It is always so refreshing to get good customer service and care. I took my sister for a sonogram of her kidneys to follow up on one from six months ago. It was a new nurse/technician, the last one was a traveling provider. This lady was awesome, listened to my sister and shared some of her own experiences. She made sure my sister was not dizzy when she sat up and she walked her to the door and waited while I brought up the car. She even thanked me for coming with her. I am glad you had some good things in your busy day.

Medical exams can be so scary and trying for us, so it's very nice to have someone who can comfort us and really put us at ease. I wish all medical personnel were like that with their patients. How much better life would be under those difficult circumstances! I hope your sister is well.

isnt it nice sometimes when people made your day wonderful? i love those nurses who would hold you and comfort you and say it's gonna be fine. they seldom do that you know as it is normal for them to see sick people everyday. some tech people too are nice when they know the customer needs help. its even more nice if they call back to check on your and your device. anyway, i hope the results are gonna be fine.
