"Sniping" is the term for coming in at the last second and bidding on something on eBay. I am waiting to do that right now. I may or may not get the item, but I'm checking on it every few minutes to see if anyone has bid (aside from the three bids it had several hours ago) Right now the item has forty minutes and some seconds to go. Have you ever waited for an item to be nearly over on ebay or some other bidding site so that you could try to get it at the last minute?

A few years ago there was this software called ebay sniper that I used to do that. I think there is still auction sniping software available now too.

Auction Sniper is a free ebay sniper that automates the process of placing your bid at the auction closing. Place eBay auction bidding snipe automatically.

I have on Listia, sometimes I won it and sometimes I lose but it's fun either way. =) I hope you get the item you want!
