It's my brother's bday but it's so hot outside!

I could really scream if I didn't have any bath this afternoon. Today it's my middle elder's birthday and he's supposed to come here to pluck the mangoes. Unfortunately looks like he cancelled it which is why I'm going there to bring some of it that I pluck this morning.
Well, I protested at first, but I changed my mind when I saw a bigger batch of mangoes near the roof.
But then again, the challenging part is going to his house which is a bit far and it's super hot in my end here. I don't know how many liters of water I've drank but ever minute I feel like drinking again

surprisingly, even though it was so hot in here, we had some cool breeze blowing, like now, that i am outside commenting, since this morning, and i feel cool with the wind.

I'm not rushing for the rain to come because it would give us trouble with drying our clothes @ridingbet so right now I'm just bearing with the heat

@Letranknight2015 since it is not yet the rainy season, any winds blowing can also dry our clothes but the problem is our newly washed clothes will not smell good when not dried under the sun. i like the smell of newly washed clothes that are sun-smelling, and not the fragrance of the conditioner but dried inside the house

It has been beautiful here all weekend but I barely got to enjoy any of it as I laid in bed so depressed. Yesterday around 6 pm my son had me take him to the school. I watched him play basketball as I wasn't up to playing it with him. I felt bad about being such a boring mom this weekend. I hate when they have to watch me go through my depressive episodes. Its been a long time since I had this... since the last time my man and I broke up. I hope your brother had a nice birthday and enjoyed the mangoes.

Hello @shaggin I'm sorry this is happening to you, hope someday you'll get over this feeling. You know they need you and you don't want to miss those moments with them while they're still young.
as for my brother they ate it right away, It was obvious why they took a lot the last time they didn't have any mango tree nearby.

Hello @ida123 Yes I did but it was still hot for me and the only way I survived some how getting there was taking a tricycle ride. I would have gone in later, how ever it was saturday and traffic is more often in weekends.

Hello @tecchigurl I should have done that every afternoon we have a 7-11 nearby and my tenants have aircondition. But I couldn't do that because I don't want to leave my grandma behind.

do you go up the roof to pick them, or do you use a long stick with a hook?
maybe you can go there later in the afternoon, around 5pm?

Hello @hereandthere No I just had a long hook, i couldn't climbed that tree with my current size and I'm not into climbing trees
I went there around one because I didn't wanna experience traffic which had left me exhausted more.

Not much @josie_ probbaly more than ten of them. I didn't pluck it all because some of them are still small.
