Sometimes I wish it was just so easy to decide for myself

I don't know but right now I feel like, you know, very confused about what I want to do in life. I mean I'm 23 now and I'm starting to feel old and right now I am still not sure what to do and what I really want and it's been bothering me for a long time now. I like doing plenty of things from sports to technology to business and even arts and music so imagine how confused i am right now which to pursue. So sometimes I just wish I can just pick what I really want one day. I'm always in doubt and I know how doubt kills dreams. Sad right now :(

Don't pressure yourself into finding something that you want to do in life... Honestly it will come. Ive been a stay at home Mum for a number of years, I have worked in supermarkets, for market research companies, taxi companies etc etc... and now I work as a kitchen porter, and am training to be a 2nd chef... I am 35 now and never in a million years did I ever think I would be a chef of any sort. P.S. Don't be sad.... sending you hugs :)

@rosie230 Hi Rosie! Wow your story is very amazing I liked how you didn't give up and kept going through those hard times. And now you are on the verge of becoming a chef! Isn't that amazing? I really hope that you'd be able to make that push to achieve that goal I wanna see someone like you become successful because I believe you have the characteristic of a person who is willing to do everything for her dream and someone who is not shaken by adversity. What a strong woman! Best of luck my friend! Happy Mylotting

Maybe you should give those a try. And see what works and not. For me that would be more easier to decide.

I'm nearly 30 and still have this issue. I'm sure it's normal. I've decided to just bite the bullet and go back to school for something rather I like it or not. A friend of mine once stated that the best way to go about it is, find something you want to do that will make you happy but generate an income as well.

Make a decision and stick with it if you want the anxiety to leave. Does the decision have to be the perfect decision? Nope. Just go with something and give it all you've got. Consider which area of study will allow you to have a life in which you can pay your bills and take care of yourself and any others for whom you are responsible for in the future.
