Missed the school bus

My son used to go to school by school bus. It comes to my bus stop at 8.10am. But today it did not come.we were waiting in the busstop till 8.45. It did not come. So we came back home. Today seems holiday for my boy. My little daughter is very happy to have him back home.ha ha . Do you have any these kind of experience.

When I was in primary school, my parents made mistake in the alarm clock setting. Then, we all missed the bus.

Did you contact the school to find out if there was anything wrong with the bus or the driver?

never experienced that. We always drive our son to school. If they don't have a class for the day, the school sends us a text message first thing in the morning if it is sudden cancellation.

my school was and still is within 15 minutes walking distance of home so I never needed a bus to get there

Never experienced this. When I was a kid, my parents bring me to school before they go to work.
