I am just curious about the Notifications here. I have noticed that every now and then the number count is reduced. I don't think that it is reduced when you have already seen, read or replied to a comment. Does anybody know the reason why? Time to sleep. Will be grateful for any good explanation but will read it tomorrow. Good night friends :)

Notifications drop off after 7 days, whether you've replied to them or not. Of course you can delete them yourself by pressing the x on the right.

I think the old notifications are automatically deleted. For some of us, we will delete the notifications after we have done with it.

After a week, your notifications will reduce unless you personally clear it. I clear my notifications as I go.

Notifications older than one week are automatically deleted.
