Memories of DVD's

What is the first DVD-related memory you have? When I was born, I'm not even sure if DVD existed, but we had a lot of videotapes at our house. When I finally saw DVD's, such as the DVD of Disney's Pinocchio, I couldn't believe all the bonus features these things had! All those nifty menus! What was your first DVD memory? Whether it was an exceptional making-of commentary or the ability to see something at a different camera angle; anything DVD-related, even if it was just improved video quality on the feature film. Do any of you remember what the first movie you saw on DVD was?

I don't remember but back when DVD was the hot item, I kept watching Armageddon on my CD over and over again

I remember the days when there were VCR players which could be connected to the TV to watch the favourite movie. These were available on rent along with the cassettes.
