If you can, do it!

Some people have been used to having other people do things for them even one as simple as getting a glass of water. These kind of people are what's called "señorito/señorita" type of people in our country. As for me, I've been used to doing things if I can do it myself like fixing the plumbing in the house, fixing the gas stove regulator, checking the lights, fixing a broken chair, fixing any leak on the roof (I climb the roof myself), cut vegetation drooping on our roof, etc. Things could be done more swiftly if we do them ourselves except in instances when an expert is needed to do the job. If allowed, I can even fix a friend's heart LOL! How about you? Are you the señorito/señorita type or do you do tasks yourself?

I agree with you . If ever i can do it , i will do it . However , with technical things , i never will do it because i might destroy it more . We were raised up with a maid , yet we were taught to help around the house , such as sweeping the yard and at the house , washing dishes and putting our own used dishes at the sink .

No I'm not, but my daughters are. Well, I can do anything what a man can do but not all. Good thing my husband knows many things also and we work together in fixing anything in the house,

My mom will be in rage if turned out to be the señorito in the house. We were been trained to do things for ourselves and not to hope other people will do for us.

You are lucky with your parents. There are some who don't mind what their children become.

Yes, it's good to try doing it first before asking others to do it for you when it's beyond your strength or capacity.

I do tasks all by myself. Like not depending to amyone. And i am glad that we were raised like that :)

I do it on my own. I can't just let my parents do the things for me. But there are times when I ask my mother to get me the glass when I know she's there and not carrying a lot. Lol! But most of the time, I am the one who does that, even for them. I know someone who acts like a senorita at home. Lol

I do things on my own. I live alone and I'm the independent type. Likewise, I'm impatient when it comes to results. I have hands and feet to do tasks, no need to ask someone to do it for me unless the task is technical/complex one and it requires someone's expertise.

Hi Sunrise Fan. I do as much for myself as I can. If there is something I can't do, I will call an expert, but I love to learn how to fix things.

I do my tasks myself only until i can do that..
