MINSK (AFP) - Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb has been named Belarus Player of the Year.
The 25-year-old Belarus international received 711 points in a poll among the Belarus football specialists and journalists to clinch the title for the fourth time in his career, the country's sports weekly Press Ball announced Friday.
Ukraine's side Dnepropetrovsk striker Sergei Kornilenko finished second with 422 point, while Russia's Tomsk side midfielder Alexander Kulchy was third with 200 points.
