Giving arrow making another "shot"

In reality, I wasn't that bad at building arrows-I just found the straitening process frustrating. In the last few days I've again split a couple of wood bows (alas, far more talented bow builders then I still have this happen from time to time), and in going over the process again, I just decided that I would give arrows another shot as well. Well that and I've had to start repairing newer arrows that I bought a little while-or I've noticed defects in them which simply annoy me-so in reality I'm just striving for something better then what is available at the stores right now-there is just something "wrong" about paying nearly 100 dollars for 4 arrows and then realizing that they are not even fletched correctly. Over a decade later I have learnt a few things-how well I will apply them will be interesting to see. I might consider adding some images in later posts to show how my progress goes. Well that will be in time, because I am going to take a wild guess that my immediate new attempts will be little better then a train wreck. Still it would be a train wreck that may ultimately be productive, and still not any worse then what I'm seeing in store bought arrows.
