There Were Some Wicked Clouds Yesterday

I took this picture yesterday evening around 6:00pm. There were some really wicked looking clouds outside. Hubby called me to come outside and there was a really dark cloud hanging down just south of us. I went back inside to get my camera but when I came back out, it had lifted. We managed to "dodge the bullet" again and didn't have any really severe weather. It rained and the wind blew, but not for very long. I love spring, but I hate the storms that come with it! Did any of you have any severe storms yesterday?

@sgbrown Yes, that's true. Vince would be out there focussing on getting some great photos and I'd be yelling at him to come in out of it. :)

@JudyEv I wanted to take some more pictures too, but it started pouring rain and lightening. My little butt went back in the house!

@sgbrown that's awful! seems to continue to be feast'r famine with the rains. the weather globally's been such a mess fer some years - earthquakes e'en where they rarely've 'em, tornadoes the same. hailstones'n the u.k., floodin' 'cross the plains whilst other parts'f the country're screamin' 'f thirst.

@crazyhorseladycx I wish the weather would settle down and level out. It seems to go from one extreme to another.

Thank you, me too! I always get a little nervous when I see those black wall clouds! I'm glad you didn't get any severe weather. I also saw where a ways south of us got some really bad flooding! A grandmother and her 4 grandchildren drown. That is so sad!

Wicked clouds? Clouds are completely innocent even though they can bring disaster.

Cool picture! Are those the kinds of clouds that like to generate tornadoes?

It was stormy today. It rained a lot. Those clods look as if a storm wanted to make its way in.
