A report from Rotoworld on Saturday says Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim left fielder Craig Gentry who has been battling a back injury could be placed on the 15 day disabled list since he has only played in one game in the last six games. If Gentry is placed on the 15 day disabled list, it will allow Rafael Ortega to replace Gentry as the starting left fielder of the Angels. The Angels other outfielder Daniel Nava who has been battling an injury to his left knee is currently on the 15 day disabled list since April 16. Nava is eligible to come off the disabled list on May 1, 2016. Los Angeles Angels manager Mike Scioscia said on Saturday that it is possible that Gentry could land on the disabled list but he did not give a date if that event is going to happen.

Are the Angels off to a decent start? I haven't checked the AL that much this season. My Giants have three good starters but have to find a couple of young arms to replace Peavy and Cain if they want to compete. My #2 team is the Cubbies, and they're off to a great start.

The Angels are currently in fourth place in the American League West Division with a record of 11 wins and 12 losses which is two games behind the Texas Rangers as of games played on Friday.

The Angels have been performing mediocre as expected despite sweeping the Royals last week.

It gets worse and worse. Nava/Gentry were never the answer in left and now the Angels don't even have that. And Street just went down. Rafael Ortega has been doing well in Nava's place.
