feeling sad

today I am feeling sad. I work in a NGO hospital. By NGO law it can provide free heath services and free medicines only to people who lives in our Municipal Committee. Today a person came to me looks poor and needy from another city patient of CA looking for free medication and heath services. I could do nothing expect pray for him because of law. Even we don't have doctor for oncology I am feeling sad for him because he can not afford treatment. Its too expensive.these kind of incidents make me so sad and my heart uffffff
what about you is there such incidets comes in your life where you can not do anything for someone and how does it feel?

I once worked in a public hospital for free when a woman escorted by police men entered the ER and went straight to one of the patients in the ER. It turned out, the woman was the mother of the patient who happened to be 5 years old crying because of stomach aches or cramps (I think). We soon found out that the reason why the boy was crying was because he was starving and why his mom was escorted by police was because she stole food for him and got caught. The price of the food she stole? Five Pesos. :(

Oh really so heart breaking why such heppens why we can not do anything is there should b such rules that anyone die or theif food cause of hunger ...govt should b responsible for that?

@faisal777 I for one donot want to blame the govt for anything. It just makes me sad that there are those, in this modern times, can die of hunger or commit crime cause of hunger or anyone for that matter let someone else die of hunger.

@slayer08 we should do anything for this kind of people dear at least what we can or pray for them if everyone do that it would be great
