No Internet for Nearly a Week

My husband and I are heading off on holiday in about an hour, for a much looked forward to holiday. Most of the time we're away we'll have no internet access, so it will be a good old fashioned holiday, of relaxing and recharging our batteries. Tonight we stop at Lake Taupo, pictured above. Then tomorrow it's a longer drive, up to the Coromandel Peninsula, where we're staying in a little beach cottage. The autumn weather has been amazing here, but guess what, it's raining today. I'm not worried. We both have plenty of reading material packed, and I have my Sudoku puzzle book. My walking shoes and rain jacket are ready to make the most of the beach, no matter what the weather. So, I'll turn off the computer now and see you all some time after we get back.

The sun shone every day, though the mornings were quite cool. We couldn't have asked for better weather though.

@valmnz getting away from computers for a week might to be compulsory about 4 times a year! In July were going to the isolated west coast for a week and then again in August and there'll be no Wi-Fi - we'll just have to talk to each other!!

In a way, that is part of the vacation, not having the Internet. Now I have signed up for a smart phone, so I always have access to the the Internet.
