Pregnancy and Miscarriage Question

How soon after a miscarriage is it safe to try again/become pregnant? I'm not thinking of becomming pregnant until I'm done school in 6 months, and until then I'm making sure that I am eating healthy, taking supplements and excercising, but I do have a history of miscarriages, and I am prepared to deal with this if it happens. Is there anything that I can do to help prevent a miscarriage, besides what I am doing?

Actually it's a full menstrating cycle when your body is ready for it after a miscarriage. Now emtionally depends on the individual.

There really isn't much you can do to prevent it. You can have your doc check your hormone levels such as progestorone to see if you are producing enough. How many miscarriages have you had? It's physically safe after you've had one normal menstral cycle to become pregnant. Eating healthy & taking supplements is a good start! Hang in there and I truly wish you the best of luck!

Miscarriages can be caused by any of a number of reasons. From bacteria to trauma to genetics. The important part of trying to tell when it is safe to get pregnant again is to keep in mind that you want to be in absolute perfect health before you get pregnant. As much as I love my children, the fact is, when they were inside of me they took what they needed and I got whichever nutrients were left over and if I didn't happen to have what they needed in my blood stream, they took it from my body itself. Pregnancy REALLY weakens a body even the most healthy woman. And don't forget for the big effort at the end you are going to need strength to make sure you and the baby both come out okay. So in other words, listen to your body. Make CERTAIN you are ready before trying again.
