Still home alone at quarter to 8

I get home from work at 2pm each day. My husband normally gets home around 6:30. You can see that I have a lot of time by myself here at home which, I'm not going to lie, I enjoy. But, by 6, I'm ready for him to get home. Tonight he is late. He didn't even call to say he was going to be late until 6:45 when I was expecting him to pull into the driveway at any moment. I don't expect him to get home until 8:30 or 9pm at which point I will be in bed and possibly already asleep. So much for human contact today after work. It was just me, the parrot, and the cats. hahaha

Sounds like he's out celebrating Cinco de Mayo

Nah. He's actually at work. He would have picked me up to go out.

@NJChicaa You should make yourself a margarita then and text him a picture of it!

Having a "me" moment is enjoyable too, when you can do what you want and have a quiet time.

It can be nice to be alone sometimes. I do enjoy it, but I also like to spend time with my husband and kids too.

I'm sorry. My husband still isn't home from work either yet and I miss him.

Waiting is so hard. When my hubby was alive, I remember sitting and waiting for him to come home all the time, too.
