There are many sayings regarding time, And the songs about time are myriad. Time is a concern of everyone, Each eon, age and period. Here are few things about time of which I made a note. Another day, another dollar, Yesterday, today, tomorrow. “Never put off until tomorrow, what you can do today.” “Today is the first day of the rest of your life.” “This could be the year of something great!” “Time is elusive.” A new year always takes, The same amount of time, To pass along its way, And age like vintage wine. To a child of six, a year seems almost endless. To someone who is 80, a year is more like a month. It passes by so quickly.
