Welcome to this weekend’s Suddendeath poetry challenge, Late! Anyways, rules are as follows, write a poem in any style using the five words that I give you. Write it in one sitting or in under an hour (only to quash your inner editor, rules are loose there). Add it here, OR link in a comment so we can enjoy each other’s poems. The words can be in any plurality or tense. Today’s words are late, rushed, hurry, hectic, busy. My entry is below: ------------------------------------------------------- I hate being late, I hate being rushed I hate feeling frazzled, showing up flushed. Running around like a chicken, trying to hurry, Grabbing lunch and shoes, starting to worry. Will I make it in time, being late is so hectic. I am too busy to be, at myself being apoplectic. I want to be early, and calm and collected Being late ruins my mood, and my day is affected!
