‘To my everything’

Happy Mother’s Day to all of us, mothers! It is a sunny day today; I and my sister went to the chapel just a walking distance from home and attended the 6:30AM mass.
During the homily, the parish priest wanted to sing a song for the mothers. He instructed all mothers to stand up, and when we did, he called a group of teenagers to sing a song about mothers. It is a very beautiful song in Pilipino language, entitled, “Iingatan Ka” (I will take care of you) and while the teeners were singing, 2 ladies distributed these ribbons and hung each on our necks and greeted us “Happy Mother’s Day”. I was misty-eyed and the others too, when the beautiful voices sang that song.
When we walked home, my son greeted me and kissed me on my right cheek.
A mother is everything to her child. My son is everything to me.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers in the world.

Happy Mother's day to you too . 
I would also be teary eyed if i experience that . I am the officer on duty at the mall to sign gate passes and supervise . This afternoon i told my hubby to come so we can attend the mass together at the chapel , which i will be supervising . After that , he should give me a dinner or else . . . i will pay .

yes, and a while ago, he came home with a cake roll, the triple chocolate cake that we ate now. although chocolates should be limited to my regimen, i gamely ate the slice that my son gave me.
