Got very warm welcome by dogs

Few days ago i had a chance to visit my old friend.She owns two dogs.When i entered her house her dogs got so excited that they both jump on me,lick my face ,my legs.They kept wagging tail and barking loudly.They then got hold of my shoe and run everywhere in house keeping shoe in mouth lol.
It was my first time to meet both dogs so i was surprise and delighted by their reaction.Not every dog gives such a warm welcome to guest.I have had opposite experience few times infact. There lives this guy in our society who's dog has chased my vehicle few times when i was knew in our area.
So how about your dog?Does he likes guest coming home?Does he /she gets excited watching them or they get scare/angry and start attacking them?

I've had a couple dogs, but none at the moment and both of them were excitable dogs and always gave a warm welcome to anybody coming in the house. Though you had to know Pip was giving a warm welcome because her welcoming bark could sound menacing, but then she would lower her head and smile having a laugh at your expense. She was such a tease. I miss her a lot.

I have never met a real mean dog unless it was cornered and scared.

The two dogs liked you so much. For my dog, he is very friendly to our guests, like what happened to you, he will jump and cling on their legs.

My pet dogs bark every time a visitor comes into our house. They do that all the time especially if it's the first time they meet the stranger.
