What kind of friend are you?

There are times when we keep our problems to ourselves thinking that sharing them with our friends would be baseless. Either they would be burdened with ‘our’ problem which we don’t want to happen or they wouldn’t care at all which would hurt us even more.
So I chose to be silent about my worries, booked a flight to HK to find myself in silence and never offered anyone an explanation. I posted a picture on FB and all hell broke loose.
Some friends claim that I’ve been so secretive.
Some friends even blocked me in social media thinking that I’ve become someone they don’t know.
Some even stopped talking to me.
The price I have to pay.
So what did I miss here on myLot anyway?

when a friend came home earlier this year, the 5 of us met up several times. what's funny was they were seriously discussing whether or not to upload the pics on facebook and, if yes, what caption to write because other friends might feel bad that we got together without inviting them. in the end, they decided not to.

hahaha I can relate to this. When I went home last year, I couldn't have the chance to meet everyone so those I've spent time with were hesitating whether to post pictures on FB or not knowing that a few souls would feel bad. Complicated life. lol

Well, they aren't friends if they've blocked you on social media. If I am your friend, I will take things differently. I would ask you about your experience flying alone.

@sol_cee right now, i have a problem with a dear friend because this friend stopped communicating with me. i just thought if this friend does not need me anymore, i will fret a while, but my life must go on.

I'm the kind of friend who lends a listening ear. But mind you, don't abuse my kindness and cut off my ear to bring it home hahaha! Seriously, my first sentence is true but for now, I cannot offer you that listening ear coz I'll be taking a break here to water my plants. See you later to listen :)

when times're troubled, that's when ya learn who yer true friends're. i'd not fret the "loss" 'f the others. true friends stick by yer side, give ya space when needed'n understand such. what'ja miss? search me, i aint been here much myself the past few days. life's jest been too busy 'n that's a good thingy :) big hugs!
