babysitting overnight

We paid to fly our niece and husband out to watch our 3 boys, ages 17, 13 and 3. They are in their early 20s. How much should we pay them per day for 4 nights? We are leaving lots of spending cash, food, snacks and my 17 year old will probably help a little.

What was your agreement? You ask her first if she wanted to be paid or maybe she would even love to spend time with the family and don't need to be paid.
But still I would give an amount though she doesn't want me to pay her, I would prepare an amount as a token of gratitude.

@radamdrake Oh okay..it depends on your state..for here in ours babysitting is just paying $5 per day (that is per day).. I heard some in the US would pay $10-$15 per hour

Well, you have paid for their tickets to fly them there, cash to spend, food, etc. Sounds like they don't need to worry about anything as far as spending their own money. I would ask them what they would like in return because after all that they may just tell you that was enough. Your kids seem pretty old for the most part so its not like they have to do a lot except have fun.

Great perspective...we agreed on a small amount and we are leaving plenty of spending money..im.happy with it...so are they!

Well, it depends on you. It's best to ask them so that you won't have any misunderstanding regarding that part.
