Last night we watched: Grave of the Fireflies

It was created by Studio Ghibli (They did Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castel and other amazing stuff.) I just have to say is...if you want to be sad, or feel like you haven't cried in a while and need to let out a few tears. Yep...yep..what a good way to just think about life and just be sad! So it is about two children from Japan who end up being homeless during the war. If that doesn't hurt you then...what the heck man? Are you stone cold? What makes this movie so dramatic and sad is that it is a real situation. Many people ended up being homeless during WWII and many people are ending up homeless today because they have no home to go back to because it was blown up. So they end up starving to death or die from some disease. IT IS SAD AHHH this movie is so sad but it is really really beautiful. I admire it so much, it is a movie that sure it is sad but it has many moments that will bring a smile to your face in the midst of tears. I recommend it, I also recommend a tissue and a water guard for your popcorn.
