As the East Sleeps so the West awakens

I feel like Malcolm in the Middle! Its not quite that late here in SA, but as I watch some of the Easterners say their "goodnights" in fruitless posts, the longitude 20th Meridian East holds most of the UK, African and European writers in sync with my time zone. . . . while the West awakens to the 12th May. What will the day bring . . . soon it will be Friday, one of the only Friday 13th for this year 2016 Take it in your stride, do something remarkable, taste something different, explore your options, take deep breaths, smile and clap as you pass by! Any superstitions we should be worried about? By the way, why dont followers state their countries - I like to see where everyone comes from! Its interesting!

I am from Philippines and when it comes with supertitious beliefs- we have a ton. 13 is not a lucky number for us. Friday the 13th is associated with negative elements and it is suggested for a person to just stay at home rather than to have fun outside on this day.

@Inlemay Sure. I love talking or responding to people from different parts of the globe too. What time is it now in your country? Here is 7:35 in the evening.

Yes I have notices that after your name, it says the Philippines, which is great, so when we respond to your writings we have an idea of where you are from

Texas. Yes, if you ask a Texan where they are from they state Texas, not USA. I have noticed this before and it amuses me

@Inlemay while that is true, it's not true that many states residents seem to do that. Texans seem to be more prone to it.

well you are pretty much in the middle of the USA, so others are at about lunch time. I am already into Friday 13th, so I am going to bid you a good-night and hope that your children enjoy their dinner and you have a good study session.
