Wives will be very happy today. Why? Because its salary day.
Because today is Friday and its 13, that means on Monday is 16. Some Boss are kind enough to make it before 15 which falls to Sunday. So, many of the working people are getting their salaries today. Unless your payroll is monthly, most of the employees now are getting the salaries. Even those on weekly basis will also get their wage because its Friday.
What is good today is its weekend. Lets enjoy the weekend.

I agree..it's Friday payday. Many would be very happy for today. Bars will be fully booked, restaurants be earning much, streets will be busy and malls will be filled with shoppers. And aside from that payday it is the reliesal next week for their mid year bunos.

@magallon yes it is something like that..and their is also one coming on July if it will not be delayed. It is called Performance Based Bonus.

Lucky for those who have mid-year bonus. For government employees, it is now called as 14th month because its a full one-month salary. Then on November or maybe before December, they will receive their 13th month. Wonderful, isn't it?
How I wish I am in the government service.
