Last weekend, I visited my Dad, he has recently had to down size his garden, because of health problems... and has  returned some of his garden to lawn... HE started to use pots, about 8 weeks ago...., he was a bit grumpy at first...., not being able to do as much as he did..., and could not see how using pots, would work....  but, now, HE thoroughly enjoys it ... click on the link below to see some of his handy work....  in one of the photos you can see my dad and one of my brothers... If anything... he enjoys it too much ..., and has got carried away.. and made up too many pots..., which defeats the object of not working so hard in the garden... but he's happy and enjoying it ... so that's good...

He's got a good show in his pots, but as you say, they still need attention. That's what I've been doing for most of the day today - planting up my pots and baskets.

I love the big blue balls and that is a lot of pots. I imagine watering is a daily chore. Your photos are wonderful!

He looks like he's really done up a lot of them, and they are beautiful. They still require a lot of work, but with them being a bit taller it is physically a little easier. I love my planters, my garden also, but it takes so much physical work, it is more our garden, then just mine, whereas the pots, they are all mine.

I enjoyed the slideshow, the pots full of flowers look beautiful, but they still need attention. Do you know the name of the white flowers in your photo? Those are exactly the same I found in my garden and I do not know the name.

He has done many pots alright and they are beautiful. He is very creative. Anne is using quite a few pots and I planted two tomatoes in pots too.

Sometimes, a families response to age is to take away things, I am so glad you have given him new things to do. Great job
