I started walking as an exercise in July of 2011 and kept a record of it with the sub-headings for date, number of rounds done at the ovals and the time it took to finish the walking exercise. In March 2014, I came across the Runkeeper app which I installed on my mobile phone and started using it when I did my walking at the ovals. To be able to use it, I have to activate my mobile data and location (GPS) buttons. Form the time I started using the Runkeeper app until today, I have logged a total of 973 kilometers walked and burned out 40,796 calories. For today's walk, I finished the 10 rounds (4.63 kilometers) in 42.40 minutes which was well within my target of 10 minutes for every kilometer.

How does that app work? Does it work for walkers too?

Yes, the apps works for many types of activities including jogging, running walking, etc. Try downloading the app. It's free. Knowing your performance using the app will keep you inspired to exercise regularly. There's also another app I'm using in tandem with Runkeeper. It's MapMyRun.

@lilnana1111 You're welcome. I'm sure you'll enjoy using any of the two. It's easy to install or uninstall.

I just keep track of my minutes of walking on my Notepad. Never added up the whole thing.

I doubt i could have burned that much calories back in 2014, I was too busy with earning money online then. I wish that I could loose that much within the year or at least 1/4 of it, but Im just limited to stroll walking.
