Do you keep a dog for pet?

About two years ago, my mom brought a dog home from a relative suddenly. It was a little one then but so lovely that I can't wait to touch it again and again. It has grown to an adult dog now and still with great attractiveness to all my family members.
There's no doubt that dogs are human's best friends. They will accompany you no matter what kinds of situation you are in, and they can even help you out of certain troubles. Do you still remember the movies "Hachi:a dog's tale" and "Eight Below" ?
The time that I spend at school is much more than that I spend at home. My dog can be always so happy during every period of time when I am back at home. I would take it out with me to enjoy the beautiful scenery of my hometown—a small countryside of Hubei province. As a word, it has brought me lots of happiness and it's a pleasure to own such a cute pet in life.

@transcendent Quite a few farmers raise orphan lambs on bottles in Australia. Most go out with the rest of the sheep once they are big enough but some remain pets.

I like this picture,it's so warm and sweet.But it is really rare to see someone keep a sheep as pet in my life, let alone such a big one.

I have a Shih Tzu and I love the way she welcomes me every time. It's like she hasn't seen me for a very long time. She's a great companion and gives happiness to every member of my family. She is already a part of us and we are even celebrating her birthday. Cake and all that.
