Whenever an employee resigns from a company, frustrated and disgruntled the most obvious reason is that they are frustrated of their managers. Because managers are the ones to carry the face of the company before the employee. They allot works, they are the ones who put pressure, who squeeze employees. So the employees get tired of their managers attitude and hence leave. Obviously there are certain reasons directly linked with company like poor pay, poor working condition and all. But for big corporate managers are the ones who are responsible for employees getting frustrated and hence leaving.

I think it is also the frustration that comes from being one of the "worker ants" that is doing the hard work while the manager gets the credit.

I agree. Most of the time it is to leave the managers and not the job itself. It could be the most boring job but if there is a good management then there is room for tolerationa and you can stand working there. If not then you get stressed out all the time at a job you hate, with people you are always frustrated at and that is no good for anyone.

I've heard of managers at companies that caused people a lot of distress due to their attitudes. We have to deal with work-related stresses. Managers won't be perfect. However, when it gets to the point where the employees can't get their job done right, that's a huge problem. some managers use intimidation towards their employees, and that's not right. Many people think it's the employees being lazy, but that's not always the case. In many cases, it's the managers who are the problem. Employees want to do their best, but they can't if they feel demotivated by bad managers. Then, managers complain that they're lazy. Managers need to look at themselves more than at the employees. In some cases, managers do realize that they themselves are the problem. If they take responsibility and admit that they're wrong at times employees will feel motivated to do their best.
