What a weird Ad

While clicking ads on neobux, I saw this ad which was strange to me. Usually when you click ads, it's about other online businesses or other ptc sites asking you to join them or be their referrals, etc. This ad was about looking for a certain person back in my country. But as the story goes, it wasn't about her being lost or she got kidnapped, it's what she did. This person who wrote got fooled by this woman after he loaned her two thousand dollars, he never heard from her since. It's common sense really, he shouldn't have taken the bait. It's sad some Filipinos do this, tries to befriend you and when you are open, they use their tactics to get money from you and disappear. At least I earned a cent from that ad. I feel sorry for the guy though.

Hello @ridingbet my mom was almost fooled by this person in facebook until I finally told her to let go of this so that I can report him and block him. I'm glad we stopped before we get to be fooled.

Perhaps the guy wanted to warn other people not to fall into the trap? I have heard the similar stories going on and on in my country too, though we know we shouldn't fall into it, but sometimes perhaps some people just trust others easily or they thought they would get something in return.

Nothing he can do about it, I mean there's no way that person can brainwash him on the phone.

That's terrible. Trusting people get taken advantage of way too often.

OMG! And how sure he is that the scammer is a real Filipino? If I would like to scam you I would pretend as American or Canadian or British etc.

That's sad alright. I wonder why people would easily trust and lend money those who ask. $2,000 is a huge amount, I'll have second thoughts if it was me.
