I think he looked great, for his first game, he missed on quite a few passes but i think that is expected and will improve in no time. He will look better for sure next year with portis coming back

I agree that we need to stick with Campbell. He showed a lot of skill last season, and with a lot of support his confidence will grow.

Yesterday's game against the Lions was the best Jason Campbell I've seen to date. He was mobile, his passes were sharp and he saw the field well. There's still a huge learning curve, but finally, PROGRESS!!!

I'm not reading too much into anything. I definitely like his poise and his arm but he's still a little inconsistent. I feel like the play calling and schemes in the offense are hindering him more than anything.

I've heard that Al Saunders is going to simplify his offense to assist Jason in the learning curve. Hopefully this will show on the field this Sunday against the Saints.

Without a doubt. Jason will be better as he gains experiance. The last game he looked bad, but that's going to happen with young QB's. He'll be back and the Redskins will be on top again with another #17 behind center.

There is no point in scaling back the offense, imo. I mean it's already vanilla as crap as it is. At some point he has to take off the training wheels and let the kid learn on the job.
