Injuries

The first time i got an injury was when i was a hangout with my friends. I was being cocky and told them i am 'probably' a Natural at ice skating (cocky right? ) because i use roller skates. I kept bragging and bragging. I didnt realise i was being a bragster till after my injury. I obviously was so excited! The day of the hangout finally came, i went to the floor with the skating rink and bought me an allday ticket. I got a pair of skating shoes, there were a few friends skating already. I put the shoes on and called my friend, she skated towards me. She was a newbie at skating so it took her a while to get over here. She and i walked towards the front of the arena. I wasnt too afraid but when i entered.. I slipped instantly, ofcourse clumsy me doesnt like falling on her back so she decides to fall on her front. It made the bone of my knee twist and as soon as my friend saw me slip, she called a few friends over to help me out. As soon as they helped me up, i decided to hold on to the railing. While holding on, my knee was injured knee was trembling like crazy. A few steps later i felt my knee twist again and then that was the last straw of pain. I decided to go back and take a seat hoping i wasnt injured. I was thinking, what would mom say?!. I decided to not go skating anymore and got my shoes. Ofcourse i limped and my knee was shaking like an earthquake was happening. I took a seat outside the skating arena and a few minutes later after thinking, i decided to call my driver to pick me up. As i was about to get my phone. My driver called me and told me we should go home, he also saw me fall so yeah.... I had a flush of embarassment. I got home and my mom got bandages and ice packs. I made a crazy long speech on messenger to our hangout group. After a few minutes i regretted everything and thought about how cocky i was. Anyways, that was 2 years ago and im not injured anymore. Now that i told you my story, care to share a time you got iniured?

That was a long story. The good thing is that you were not badly injured. I've come across worst injuries in the ice skating rink not because of cockiness but because of accidents. So the moral of your story is not to be arrogant as cockiness does not pay, right?
