2nd spammer within two days! Another Spammer or just a new name? AGAIN???

I just now got another spam message from a different user. But guess what? They were both advertising IQ. I had thought that the one in the morning has been banned. Did they return with a new username and new account?
Here check this out:

I already reported them. I request whoever receives them please report them. Copy and paste them and forward them to Admin. ASAP
As @OwlWings said Someone maybe more vulnerable than you. Report them and save someone falling victim to such things. Be a responsible member of the site too!

The message say they made $ 2.365,98 in 26 days. Note the position of the decimal. It means $ 2. Well, I can make a dollar in one day if I put some effort. That means $ 2 dollars in two days for me. I think I have the best deal already.
Like you had pointed out in your post, It's the same lack of IQ here. They actually meant to say $ 2,365.98. They swapped the decimal and comma. That changed the whole amount from $ 2366 (approx) to $ 2. Idiots!

It is such a waste of time for spammers to come to this site. It will not work. The staff here is always so quick to put a stop to the spammers. I received the PM as well.

@slund2041 Yep! Even the members are all quick. Many of them reported those messages and those two spammers were gone quickly.

It is a new spam strategy : they join just to post one spam message, so blocking them does not help, and pm the message to Alex will just make of Alex the most spammed member.
If it continues, I will select for Message Preference on my Settings "Only those I follow can message me" and it will definitely stop this. For the moment any member can message me.

@Daljinder Alex might miss more important pm if he has to read hundreds of pm complaining against the same spam message. I agree that spammers have not to force us to use this option. It would be better to forbid to any newcomer with no activity to send PMs. Or less than (100) discussions/comments/responses...

@topffer But those spammers shouldn't have to be able to govern our decisions. Why should we change our message settings because of them?
And yeah, Alex is in the thick with receiving so many messages. But it's also part of his job.

@Orson_Kart Actually most of us have gotten those messages. They would have sent you too but by reporting it they got banned before they had the chance. It was like they came, signed up, and starting sending messages one after the other. They showed no other activity in their profiles.

@Daljinder Good on you for reporting them. I hate spammers. I don't even be nice anymore. I used to be all like "Sorry not interested." Now I just report and if they bug me even further, my fingers may accidentally type out some curse words.

@just4him It is good practice to report them. I worry some gullible person may fall victim to it. There are several on this site that are struggling for money and some are desperate. Desperation can sometime lead to stupidity. That is why it is important to report them and had them banned as soon as we can. If it was just a matter of protecting the site, I would have deleted them too.
