Motivation or Education?

Who likes to get motivated? I believe in informational speakers (if you may) rather than motivational speakers. Motivation starts with education. "If the guy's an idiot and you motivate him, now you have a motivated idiot!" - Quote Jim Rohn. If you don't know who Jim Rohn was... check him out, please! Now, would you rather be motivated or educated?

informational speakers could be boring, while motivational speakers are the best in talking.

If I may, I choose both. Having the information plus the motivation can get you far in life! If you're motivated without information you don't know what to do and if you have information with no motivation, you may not want to do anything. So having both is best in my opinion.

Indeed I agree! I just feel there is way too many motivational speakers out there that just don't leave you inspired and motivated too long! Overall I totally agree with what you just said, Jaco!

Why should we check him out? Why can't you add some lines on the man? Why should the community do your job?

Because this is not a post about him! You need some motivation to check him out? I informed you! :-) Joking, have a beautiful day, Maluse!

I disagree .... I am aspiring to be a motivational speaker and what informational speakers do is just provide you information related to any topic ... Whereas a motivational speaker by speaking to you brings out the best in you .and it's better to have a motivated idiot because he will be motivated to do something whereas by a informational speaker he will just mug up some points ... But I respect your opinion :)

@born2beadrummer I appreciate your idea .. But that's not the case that you forget the motivation once you go Home ... I got motivated for this field through a motivational speaker only . # regards :)

Woah! Good luck with your goal, Saba! Keep us posted on how it proceeds!! Wait, I don't say motivation is useless, rather the opposite! I just feel that both should be transmitted to people, especially because it's easy to let go of motivation once a seminar has finished and you go home. Then again, I'm still a beginner in this, an explorer :-)
