Separate date with my Kids

I have three kids aged 16, 14 and 10. Two girls and a boy. This summer vacation I do take time having separate dates with them other than having them all in a date. Last week I had date with my eldest. We had lunch together ad we decided to have a short trip to a salon. That was her reward for accompanying me in my annual medical check up.
Last Friday another salon date with my second girl and just the same we had lunch. My little man asked me if I could treat him out for a burger and of course I said yes. I joked him if he wanted to go to a salon just like his sisters but he just frowned. I could say that I spent less for my little man so I decided to ask him what he wanted to buy for himself. If only you could see the glow in his eyes!
Its important for me to spend quality time with my kids and build good memories with them while they are still young.

This is a great thing to do! We have dates with our kids, too. It's a wonderful way to spend time with them one-on-one.
We recently discovered bowling so that's the older kids favorite kind of date.
The younger kids like going out for ice cream or lunch.

That is true although you do really need a special budget if you go out with them.

he probably feels you relate more/share more interests with his sisters because you're all female, so i'm glad you asked him what he wants. so what did he ask for?

He just asked for new shirts and bag. He was so happy for those I gave them.
