So, if you don't know, its been 40 (well 41) years since it premiered. And how many of you folks have seen it? Well, I can see by the raise of hands, quite a few of you. However, how many of you saw it FIRST RUN? So, okay, some of you weren't ALIVE when it first ran. I get that. But really, for us older folks, who saw it before it became a cult classic? I did. Yes I did, in an empty theater, well there MIGHT'VE been a couple other people in there , but all things considered, it was empty. And, ya know, I actually like Phantom of the Paradise a bit better, shame that didn't become a cult like RHPS. Now, who saw it on stage? I can't say I did, but I did met the man who was the first Narrator... Nicholas Courtney

I love Rocky Horror Picture Show! I remember watching the film as a child and being absolutely terrified of the red lips. I grew to love the film and spent a great deal of time watching it on repeat. I have never seen the live rendition, but I would love to go. I know that FOX is doing a remake of the film with Laverne Cox. From what the promo photos have shown, it looks terrible.

It won't have Tim Curry back in his yummy days, so I don't see how it could be as good...

@ElicBxn Those were my thoughts exactly. I feel sad for what Tim Curry has become. I can't imagine having a stroke and watching this remake come to life. I honestly would find what they're doing a bit insulting, but who knows, it might end up being good. The released photos are trash though. My hopes are definitely not high.

There is a Rocky Horror remake coming soon to TV. I was alive when it opened but didn't see it until later. I can remember the crazy midnight showings with the singalongs to Time Warp.

So I've heard. I saw that version they did a number of years ago, but I don't find the antics of the fans nearly as entertaining as the movie, then again, I've never been one to stand up and stand out.
