The smell of the cut grass reaches my nose. / myLot

Good morning, dear lotters. Today I have had a very busy morning and it will become more so later on. Marco, my man helper came and as Leticia cannot help me with the garden just now, I hired him to do the garden. I made a list and probably he will be here for at least 2 days. I have to buy some things I don´t usually have such as giant bags to place all that he will prune. We will go with Leticia to buy a big transparent plastic to make a sort of greenhouse over the terrace. That will keep the house warmer and I´ll save energy. And when my birthday comes, the smokers can stay there without freezing.

My garden is big by city standards, but quite small if you live out of town.

The garden work includes mowing the grass (hence the aroma), pruning and transplanting some plants.

Good luck with your garden. You must have a lot to do out there for 2 days. Yeah you will need large plastic bags for the cuttings and grass. Sounds like a good idea plastic over the terrace.

When my husband was alive he always did it and we saved a lot using passive solar energy. Now I cannot do it by myself.

I love the smell of cut grass but sometimes the things that ate in the soil will cause those allergies to act up. With the humidity people should be careful while cutting the grass. I hope you have a lovely birthday when it arrives. Take care.
