physically and metally drained after work

May 23, 2016 8:20pm CST
I currently work as a STNA . I've been working the field for six years and I work with the developmentally Disable. I have had residents come and go a lot in them six years but last night was so different . His name I cant disclose but he was truly a child of the man above. His holidays was his life and he knew when each holiday was arriving he was such a sweet heart . His hair felt like silk and he loved his sister if you mention her name he lit up like a cristmas tree well he lost his 2 year battle to cancer last night. The thing that really drained me was seeing all the other residents stand around him and cry it was so emotional. all the employees were crying all the while trying to get the residents to their rooms for bed. lets just say last night was an experience but I thank go for allowing me to take care of him for six years
