No net again at 10AM.

As usual the internet connection was off again at 10AM. I was busy playing candy crush soda in my phone when I noticed that I got offline and cannot connect on net. I asked my son and yes, there was no net.
Even the phone had no dial tone. Well, I think that is better than power interruption again.
I texted my colleague and she said they have internet, so the problem might be there are some areas in the city that have power interruption. My son texted his friend and yes indeed, a certain portion of the city has no electricity, so that answered our question.
I will post this discussion once the net resumes, but I don’t know when it will. Net came at 5PM.

I am annoyed when we have no net at home. So I have a back up, my Globe tattoo stick. But it isn't as reliable as the wired connection. So I go to an internet cafe when we have lots of work to do and we have no connection.
The internet connection here where I am is good. They used to have Globe LTE and they said it just caused them headache. Now they transferred to another ISP and it is bundled with cable channels and they only pay 999 per month for the net and cable services. I hope that ISP will also reach our area which I doubt will happen soon. They only serve a few areas outside Metro Manila.

that is a pocket Wi-Fi, i think, right? we are on DSL, PLDT and sometimes it drives me and my son crazy like yesterday

@ridingbet No it is a home broadband and I pay just PHP1,100 a month inclusive of one landline.

Actually at my place, I'm blessed with a continuous Internet. Even at times if I don't have Internet, I make a point that my phone has enough data always. At times I end up paying more for that, but I believe it's my lifeline now!

@ridingbet My surrounding has got evolved I must say, back in 2012, I used to crib about the low bandwidth, I used to say "I want an awesome bandwidth." Seems universe has listened to me!

the net and electricity are 2 different entities here, but we do have disruptions on both especially if the affected power interruption is where PLDT main office is situated.

our net gets fast in the very early morning but then it gets so loaded that it also slows down when noon sets in. then, the 'unresponsive script' comes in as well. practically, i have a snail speed internet now.

We don't have power outage so far and hopefully none at all because it will be very warm in my place.
And thankfully the internet connection is good.

yes it gives me frustrations my friend, that is why i don't open my FB account this morning. i open it only in late afternoon during the time that i watch TV and temporarily leave this site.
