My favorite type of movie is science fiction. The best movies of this type for me are Star Wars and The Terminator. They are all great movies because in these movies the main characters find a new full of things they have never seen. Although science has taught us a lot about the world, there are still many things we don’t know. Science fiction is exciting because it uses what we know and what we don’t know about the world and asks “What if?” What if the robots took over the world? What if there were other living things in outer space? It will make the world in mechanical thing. Photo Credit: https://pixabay.com/en/robot-artificial-intelligence-woman-507811/

@ilocosboy There will be no human existence anymore. Perhaps it looks like a judgment day.

Robots do not have feelings. They are just machines and will just do whatever they need to do. It would be a horrible thing if a robot invades the world and humans will just be followers of these robots. This will be so ironic since humans are the ones who made the robots in the first place.

@annierose It may sounds so horrible to be ruled by robots. The good side, we still the masters of these roberts.

@Shavkat It is true. I hope these human makers produce good robots and not destructive ones.

@annierose I do think they still have the heart of real humans.

Then the earth will not be a happy place anymore, because robots don't have feelings thus, don't know how to love.

@SIMPLYD I agree. I had found a teaching site and the hiring process is one-day. If you want, I can send to you the link.

I saw The Terminator and I absolutely loved the original Star Wars. I used to wonder what would happen if robots took over the world and what would happen to humans. I do not believe the robots would succeed because I have seen how they can malfunction and then they cannot do anything whereas humans can continue to function if something goes wrong with them. I do not see robots ruling the world.

I do think robots cannot withstand the pressure of being functional.

@Shavkat I agree with you Shavkat. I believe that they eventually blow out and then that is it for them.

I also enjoy watching science fiction movies. I will not say that the robots will take over the world. Why not they will act like assistants for human beings? Robots and human beings can still live peacefully. I try to think for the positive side

@youless In some point, if automated robots will take charge the functions of the laborers in certain factories. There will be a lot of jobless people.

For that to happen, the robot has to be smarter than the person who designed it. I.e, someone has to be able to write a program which is smarter than they already are. But if they can write that, it means they are that smart. So this seems very unlikely to happen. But then again, there are more things on heaven and earth that can ever be dreamed of in your philosophy. If it does happen, humans are going to die out. They'll be superior to us in every way.
