We Were Finally Able to Sleep with the Window Open Last Night

For a while there, I thought we were going to have to keep all the windows shut for a few more weeks. But, it finally warmed up this week and, last night, we slept with our bedroom window open. There was some risk with doing that, however. We have some noisy neighbors and some of the area birds can get pretty loud first thing. As a result, I was ready to close it if needed. But, we didn't have a problem last night and both slept really well.

Same here! Well, it's been kind of warm the past weeks already. It is still grey clouds (like today) but I guess if you are living in an apartment where you typically have the windows shut, it warms easily indoors. We usually have to open the fan in the evenings since it gets really chilly at night.

This weather this year has been weird. A couple days ago, we had frost advisories and had to have our furnace on. Now it's almost summer-like. We sort of skipped spring.

@srhelmer SO TRUE! The weather so far makes me think if I am living in a different country. Spring is supposed to last until early to mid June but it is mostly really sunny days for the past couple of weeks now.

I love it when we can open our windows.

The only thing I don't like about it is everyone in the neighborhood decides to mow their lawn 24/7 once that happens.
