Vigan City is known because of cultural heritage including the old houses with the old Spanish architecture because of Spanish occupation in 1500 to 1800's. It was previously know as Ciudad Ferdinandina. Now, the biggest drawer of tourists in the Northern Philippines, know as Heritage City was also one of the newest 7 Wonder Cities of the world. Old houses which can be appreciated through riding the calesas along the Crisologo street is one of the main experience in Vigan. Celebrating Longanisa Festival, Binatbatan Festival, Rimat Festival among other celebration, Vigan is really a tourists destination of the Philippines. photo is mine

It is one of our travel destinations in one of these days. I had passed Vigan when we went to Sarrat, Ilocos Norte a long time ago. I like the place.
